Arabella was not a pleasanat child. She enjoyed saying rude and vicious things to the family’s pet bird, Jack. But Jack was not a pacifist. He believed in fighting back. So, with the help of some cats, Jack got out of his cage. He waited behind the curtains until he saw Arabella outside then flew straight onto her head where he started chirping to his friends that he had a new roost. Soon his friends chirped back that they were on the way.

Things for Arabella were about to change.
