I have some celery growing nicely from the bottom bits I cut off a bunch of supermarket celery.

Ha! I did the same perhaps fifty years ago… in my uncle’s cottage, but I never see the results. It’s a pity because I really expected something to grow. En fin…
It took many thrown pits before one finally decided to grow. So keeping throwing those pits! You could get lucky!
